Are You Retiring too Soon?

“To Retire Means To Rust” not only has meaning for when we grow older but also for how we can live today!

I’ve heard it said that if a plane sets for too long in storage it can fall apart and break down faster than if it were being utilized in the air. The same goes true for a ship or boat. If it sets too long in harbor or at a dock it will deteriorate faster than of it we’re uses at sea in the same time frame!

“Why is that?”, you say.

Well, Those planes were made to fly and those ships were made to be in the water!

Just like our talents our abilities and all of our crazy dreams and plans that we have in life.

Don’t you have aspirations, dreams, goals and plans? And, what of them?

What are you doing with them? Are the sitting there retired and rusting away?

How are they ever going to get off the ground or leave harbor if you leave them there rusting? Have you resolved yourself with the mindset of well Thai is how it’s going to be and I guess those dreams never did happen..

My question to that would be did those plans ever have a chance?

Did you ever try hard enough to make them come to fruition or did you decide it was too hard and just let them sit there and rust?

If we want to make anything of ourselves in this world then we are going to have to do whatever we believe God has called us to do and give it our all.

We are going to have to get out of dry dock, pull the chalks, set our sails and take flight with our dreams and plans in this life.

I want to challenge you today to never retire those dreams of yours, don’t let your talents and abilities on the shelf and allow them to rust!

We only have so much time on this earth, so we better use it wisely.

Who knows you may surprises yourself but if your ass is just sitting on the couch, you’ll never accomplish those dreams from there!
