The Invasion of Illegals Burdens My State and the Nation

Among the many reasons that Donald Trump has been re-elected to be President was his campaign promise of deporting every illegal alien within our borders. And, a majority of Americans are firmly in favor of this massive undertaking.

The cost will be astronomical. Already the invasion is costing us $150.7 billion per year. If only 15 million are deported, at a labor and transportation cost of only $2,000 each, that equals $30 billion, but that estimate is likely only a tiny fraction of what will be involved, particularly to round up the most onerous among those who are here illegally.

Deep Impact

Virtually every state in the union has been impacted by the corrupt Biden-Harris Administration, including my current home, North Carolina. The data related to Hispanics in North Carolina is revealing. Of 11.3 million state residents, 1.3 million are Hispanic, based on 2019 data (before Biden was installed as president).

According to the American Community Survey, 54% of them are Mexicans, followed distantly by Puerto Ricans, Hondurans, Salvadoreans, Guatemalans, and a variety of other nationalities.

Of all Hispanics in North Carolina, 34% are here illegally: they are not citizens and they do not have green cards or work permits.

Ramifications Galore

In America, the world’s greatest melting pot, with at least 61 million Hispanic residents out of a total population of 346.2 million, few eyebrows are raised. Nearly one in five residents here are Hispanic, with a median age far lower than the rest of our population. As many as one in three Hispanics residing in the U.S. could be illegal and certainly as many as one in four are illegal.

With more than one in three in North Carolina, ramifications abound. Most of these Hispanic individuals are under age 30. At least 1 in 33 people in hospital emergency rooms are receiving benefits for which they have offered no financial contribution. One in 33, 3%, is consequential. Who would enjoy an unannounced 3% rise in one’s rent or mortgage?

About 29% of all foreign-born North Carolina residents (not simply Hispanics) age 16 or over, are not in the labor force, based on data from the U.S. Census Bureau. Nationwide, 74% of adults, ages 19 to 64, have health insurance. In North Carolina, it’s only 54%. Who pays for these people?

Subtle to Gargantuan Burdens

Illegal drivers cause a disproportionate share of accidents and are an added burden to the police force and first responders. Many public servants already work long hours. An added burden to their workload is significant: If you have a 40-hour job, from 9 to 5, five days a week, and must work more hours with no extra compensation and benefits, and no acknowledgment, is that fair?

North Carolina is now not a central magnet for Hispanics coming over the border: California, Illinois, New York, Texas, and Florida bear the brunt of the border invasion. Illegals come to North Carolina largely because they already have an accommodating relative or there’s some other compelling personal connection.

Democrats seek as many illegals in every state as quickly as possible. For four years, the Biden Administration ensured that the percentage grew markedly. Despite their denials, Democrats long-term goal is to replace the U.S. Caucasian population and make it a minority. By 2050, they could succeed.

A Steep, Unending Tax

Any country seeking to maintain its culture, finances, and sovereignty cannot endure an unending stream of immigration lawbreakers. Is there another country on Earth that is both prosperous and is experiencing our border crisis?

Biden still has two months to wreak havoc. Every time another illegal plants a foot in America, is shuttled to our interior by the Biden Administration, is given a hundreds of dollars per night for hotel rooms in major cities, and is allowed to partake of our educational, medical, and social services, it is a steep tax on everyone who resides here legally, pays taxes, and acts responsibly.

The New York City trash buildup in hotel rooms and hallways housing the illegals speaks volumes. A former employee of the Row Hotel took pictures of the hotel rooms occupied by people brought in from the border by the Biden-Harris Administration. The scene is beyond ugly and chaotic, festering with violence and drug use.

Multiplication

Thanks to the Biden-Harris Administration, and Democrats and RINOs in Congress, the scene has quickly multiplied across America. The Trump Administration will rectify the situation but at untold financial, political, and social costs.
