Behind virtually every expression of recent Jew-hatred is the refrain, “Allahu akbar.” The current outbreak of antisemitism is driven by Muslim groups. The power centers of the Islamic world cite the Quran to advocate and in fact demand the brutal murder of Jews. Spurred on by the Hamas attack on October 7th, Jew-hating Muslims have come out from their medieval caves to reignite dormant anti-Jewish sentiment.
It is clear that Muslims will not tolerate Jews or Israelis anywhere in the world. Muslims have done a masterful job of creating an avalanche of pro-Hamas propaganda that is responsible for protests in Washington, New York, London, and other global sites.
The media have reported that 33 Harvard University student groups are signatories to a letter supporting Hamas. What the media neglected to mention is that nearly all of the 33 groups are Muslim or Arab organizations. Here are a few of the signatories: Harvard Islamic Society, Harvard Arab Medical and Dental Student Association, Harvard Divinity School Muslim Association, Harvard Middle Eastern and North African Law Student Association, Harvard Graduate School of Education Islamic Society, Harvard Kennedy School Muslim Caucus, Harvard Muslim Law School Association, Society of Arab Students. Azra Nomani, former Georgetown professor, agrees with me. “Those testimonies [by presidents of Harvard, MIT, and UPenn] are a manifestation of six decades of work by Muslim organizations that have as one mission in their lives, the destruction of the state of Israel and the removal of Jews from the river to the sea,” she said. “They have established beachheads at our universities from Harvard to UC Berkeley and they have unleashed this woke army onto our campuses calling for this genocide of Jews—and that’s detestable.”
Nihad Awad, executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), claimed he was “happy” to watch the Oct. 7 Hamas terror attack unfold. Speaking at the 16th Annual Convention for Palestine in the U.S. on Nov. 24, he said that the people of Gaza were merely “breaking the siege.”
“The people of Gaza have the right to self-defense, have the right to defend themselves,” Awad said, “and yes, Israel as an occupying power does not have that right to self-defense.”
“If that’s not openly endorsing the savage terror attacks, the rape and torture of women, the beheading of babies, and the wanton killing of civilians, then I don’t know what is,” wrote Bob Hoge at RedState.
Most of the Americans who have come out as pro-Hamas are ignorant of the atrocities committed on October 7th—they have been deceived by Islamic propaganda that is embraced by our lying media. Showing support for Jews at this critical time is necessary for the preservation of civilized behavior.
