As Thanksgiving approaches, our hearts turn to gratitude — for family, friends, and the many blessings God has poured into our lives. But this season reminds us of something even deeper: thankfulness is at the heart of revival.
When God’s people humble themselves and give thanks — even in difficult times — something powerful happens. Gratitude softens our hearts. It breaks pride. It opens the door for God’s Spirit to move again.
2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV) reminds us:
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven…”
Humility and thankfulness walk hand in hand. A thankful heart is a surrendered heart — and a surrendered heart is the soil where revival grows.
This Thanksgiving, let’s do more than count our blessings.
Let’s thank God for His mercy, His patience, and His promises.
Let’s thank Him for what He’s done — and what He’s about to do in our lives and in our nation.
That’s the heartbeat of Revival250 — believers coming together to say, “Lord, we are grateful for You, and we long for Your presence to fill our land again.”
