As we prepare for Thanksgiving day, I am always retrospective. I believe that “remembering” is one of our greatest callings in life. The word “remember” is used hundreds of times in the bible, all designed to push us toward God and His faithfulness to us. Remembering the past helps us today and tomorrow. For today it reminds us that God is with us. For tomorrow it reminds us that God has a plan for us and is always with us and leading the way.
Take some time to remember God’s faithfulness to you this week. Rejoice in the fact that He walks with you at all times, even the dark and lonely times. Remember that all good gifts come from His hand. Take some time to either think through or write down all of God’s blessings in your life. Meditate on them!
If you are struggling this week – as many do – remember that He loves you with an everlasting love and that He takes joy in you. After all, He created you!
God is good. I am thankful for all of you, my friends for your support and encouragement throughout the years. May this week and the coming weeks into the holiday season be a blessing to you and your family!
