Tucker: It’s time to reassess our view of Kamala Harris

Deconstruct your unconscious bias and ask yourself, would a moron be capable of repeating the same canned phrase dozens of times with this kind of precision, without changing a single facial expression?

Tucker extols the under-appreciated genius of Kamala Harris that he’s been missing for so long in his blind racism. Highlights include:

“You following this? So, Kamala Harris is like your sister in the same way that Michelle Obama would be like your sister if your sister was your cousin and also married to the president. Why hadn’t we realized it before?”

“Well, as Joy Reid pointed out, ‘most of the media is still white and male’, of course. Those damned white males, always hiding the sister/cousin connection, it’s what they do. But for us, the veil had been lifted. We could see for the first time what our racism had blinded us to for so long and the truth hurt. It was so painful that for days we had to wear sunglasses, even indoors. But it was worth it because at that point began a journey of contrition and self-discovery that honestly was long overdue.”

“Our assumption, really for decades, was that politicians who make a habit of using the word ‘truth’ are probably, really by definition, lying. That’s why they say ‘truth’ so often… What struck us was that she repeats the same line again and again and again, and our old reaction was derision… Not exactly Socrates, that was the phrase we used.”

“But that reaction, we now see, comes from a place of privilege.”

“Evaluate your priors! Deconstruct your unconscious bias and ask yourself, would a moron be capable of repeating the same canned phrase dozens of times with this kind of precision, without changing a single facial expression? Oh, no, try that at home. You can’t do it, you’re too self-aware. It’s impossible to you, but not to Kamala Harris.”

“When Kamala Harris tells us again and again and again that we need to work together, she’s not simply repeating some vapid canned soundbyte she’s been handed by her handlers.. No, she’s literally, literally, moving human evolution forward. She’s making the species better on a cellular level. How long ’til we can fly? If Kamala Harris keeps it up, not long. She does this all the time.”

“Okay, so, again, there are a couple of ways to assess that claim.. The old us, before we were reborn…The old us would’ve said ‘Wait a second, Kamala Harris! African Americans weren’t actually enslaved for 400 years in this country, that’s not true.’, but we would’ve missed the point. So, what happened here is Kamala Harris before her talk googled ‘how long was there slavery in America?’ and she saw that it’d been 400 years since slavery began in America, which is true.”

“But, she forgot to subtract the years since the Emancipation Proclamation. It’s actually fewer than 400, about 150 years fewer than 400, which would put us around 250, but whatever. The point is, that’s not her fault. It’s Google’s fault for not doing the subtraction for her.”

“And who runs Google? White men.”

Tucker: This is a manufactured disaster

They’re hoping that if they keep screaming at you, you will be too bewildered and off-balance to notice what is happening to the country around you, much less able to fight back against it.

Tucker continues his coverage of how everything is going according to plan … for soulless government and corporations looking to distract us from recognizing the disasters they’ve caused. Highlights include:

“The problem is definitely not our resources. Our resources in the United States are abundant. The problem is our leaders. The things you need are too expensive to buy because politicians created inflation, and they did it for a simple reason. They’ve racked up so much debt buying votes and enriching themselves and their families, that they had no choice but to weaken the US dollar in order to make the payments on the loans they took out.”

“It’s that simple.”

“And then once inflation arrived, ideologues in the Biden administration immediately understood how it could be used. So, since you can no longer afford to drive your car, you will have no choice but to accept their ‘green energy’ scams, and that means their donors who run those scams will get richer and they will get control over the US economy. So, everyone wins, except you. It’s perfect. None of it happened by accident, this is a manufactured disaster.”

“They seem afraid because they are afraid. To them, a crowd of angry people at the Capitol looks a lot like a foretaste of things to come. That’s exactly why they’re so desperate to take your guns away. It’s why they’re screaming at you about ‘trans rights’ and ‘systemic racism’ and the all-encompassing evil of the president of faraway Russia.”

“What does any of that have to do with our actual problems here and improving your life? Well, none of it has anything to do with improving your life, and that’s the point. They’re hoping that if they keep screaming at you, you will be too bewildered and off-balance to notice what is happening to the country around you, much less able to fight back against it. And just to make sure you’re too bewildered to act, as they scream they shift the blame from themselves to you. So they’re now pronouncing you guilty for the crimes that they’ve committed. You’ve watched this happen.”

“So it turns out many economists and ‘social scientists’ have concluded that having kids is selfish and way too expensive and that’s your fault, so dial back your expectations of ever having a family. Thanks for telling us, MSNBC.”

“Notice that no one at MSNBC ever blames the powerful for where we are. Apparently, the US government had no role in ‘reducing the labor force participation rate,’ say by shutting down the entire US economy and firing anyone who didn’t get their vax or turning cities in to war zones or devaluing the US dollar. None of that actually happened, it’s not their fault. Wall Street and the fed are blameless. The problem is you. The problem is that you selfishly want to have children and children are bad for GDP. All the big corporations now agree on that, they’re all now against human reproduction.”

“Yep, very damaging to the economy, having all those children, all that new life. This is the America that Janet Yellen has created with the help of her friends in the media. So, you can’t afford to get married or buy a house or have children, much less raise them yourself in a two parent family on a single income as every generation of Americans did for hundreds of years in this country. But for you, none of that is possible. Only private equity people can afford normal families now. But for you, things are very different. For you life is low-paid drone work at some digital country, punctuated only by brunch on the weekends and Netflix and white whine at night forever until you die alone with no descendants to remember you.”

“Why are they telling you this? Well, simple. The more atomized and unhappy American society becomes, the easier it is for them to control. Fewer marriages and babies and family-owned homes means more rootless and dissatisfied people. It means an entire nation of desperately unhappy grad students.”

Tucker: This is a coordinated attack on the family

It’s not simply an explicit attack on the legitimacy of the third branch of government, the Court. It’s not just an attack on the right of people to govern themselves. It’s something bigger than that.

Published

on

Tucker calls the enraged response to Roe v Wade ending what it is, an attack on the institution of Family. Highlights include:

“’I do not view abortion as a choice,’ said Joe Biden as recently as 2006, ‘I think it’s always a tragedy.’ And, of course it always is a tragedy, even if you believe it should be legal, and democrats once said this out loud forthrightly. In fact, in 1997 as White House council, now Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan urged her boss Bill Clinton to sign a ban on partial birth abortions. Elena Kagan has always been pro-choice, but ending the life of a child the week before birth was too much even for her, and of course for his part, Bill Clinton never spoke about abortion as anything but as a last resort. He famously described it as something that should be ‘safe, legal and rare.’ You don’t hear that on the left anymore, ever.”

“The hysteria is telling. It’s not the assault on bodily autonomy of the end of Roe vs. Wade. Those are the same people who demanded vaccine mandates. But this happened all over the country. In Arizona, thousands of enraged rioters tried to storm the state capitol. On Friday night they tore down security fencing around the building. They pounded on the senate’s glass doors and windows while the legislature was in session, police had to fire tear gas from the windows to protect the politicians inside.”

“Looks like insurrection to us, but no arrests were made at the Arizona state capitol on Friday when that footage was shot, there will be no FBI investigation. Democrats who called January 6 a racist insurrection said nothing this weekend about the violent siege at the state capitol of Arizona. Did you expect them to? No, of course not. In fact, instead, they justified it.”

“Because the Court did something they don’t like, they’re now telling us the third branch of government is ‘illegitimate’. The Supreme Court is ‘illegitimate’ because it’s allowing voters to decide what they want to do with abortion. Some would call that democracy, a system in which citizens choose their own form of government. They’re telling us it’s illegitimate.”

“It’s not simply an explicit attack on the legitimacy of the third branch of government, the Court. It’s not just an attack on the right of people to govern themselves. It’s something bigger than that. What you’re seeing is a coordinated attack on the family and on children. People at these protests are angered at the idea that children are being born. Watch what’s happening there, that’s hardly an overstatement.”

“What about the thought of having children makes these people so angry? Where does an attitude like that come from? Well, as it turns out, that attitude comes from the same place the democratic party now gets all of its attitudes, directly from corporate America. Corporate America wants you childless, and this is a big change.”

“A hundred years ago, big companies built housing for the families of their employees and then schools and libraries to educate them. It was the humane thing to do, but it also seemed to make good business sense at the time. If you wanted workers you could count on, you had to take care of them and their offspring. But over time, that arrangement got expensive. Employees with families demanded higher wages to support their children, and in many cases they formed unions to get those raises, so labor costs soared. So corporate America in response to this developed a new model: hire single women.”

“The one downside to hiring young women is they can get pregnant. If you’re running the HR department at Citibank, that is the last thing you want. Children make your health care plan more expensive.”

“What amazing is that in the face of this, so many Americans who ought to know better have fallen for it. So, some accountant at a soulless publicly traded corporation concludes that drones with no personal lives make cheaper workers, that’s what happened. But rather than question this or resist it, your average college-educated NPR listener nods in vigorous bovine agreement, and then becomes completely hysterical when someone suggests that maybe there’s another way to live, that it’s at least theoretically possible that raising your own children might be more rewarding as a life choice than commuting into a slum on public education in order to claw your way up into middle management.”
