Tucker: Biden’s inflation crisis

No government in the history of the world has ever spent more money than Joe Biden is spending right now.

Last August, used cars were selling for an average of $21,000. This August, they were almost $28,000. Same car, seven grand more.

Over the same period, the price of gas jumped a full dollar a gallon, and more than that in some places.

Been to the grocery store lately? The cost of a pound of steak is up by two bucks. A pound of bacon costs over seven dollars.

Suddenly everything costs more: eggs, milk, coffee, mustard. Etc.

These aren’t luxury items. These are things you buy every week. Are your wages rising as fast as your food costs? Vegetable oil is up sixty percent. Probably not.

You’re getting poorer. That’s what inflation does. It causes poverty. The Biden administration is actively making this much worse.

In this episode, Tucker explores the history of the Federal Reserve and the rise of inflation in the United States.

Highlights include:

“The Federal Reserve was created back in 1913 by an act of Congress and it had really two main goals: maximize employment and keep prices stable, keep inflation under control. Those are virtuous goals. But it may be a measure of the way that bureaucracies work that over time the Federal Reserve has actively undermined those objectives.”

“Every month, Federal Reserve officials print more than $100 billion in American currencies, and then they inject those dollars into our financial system by buying assets like bonds and securities. This is not a normal thing to do; it is a radical thing to do, and it was supposed to be temporary.”

“For the better part of a year, fed officials have been promising they’re going to stop doing this. They have sworn they will get sober. They have vowed to begin a process called ‘tapering.’ That means they’ll start to gradually slow the money they print. At a fed meeting in April, officials said they’d start to do this very soon … but they never did.”

“Because we can prove that the population of the United States is getting poorer by the day, you’d think the Biden administration would be actively concerned about this and working to make it better. But they’re doing the opposite. They’re actively making it much worse. And here’s how they’re doing it — by spending.”

“No government in the history of the world has ever spent more money than Joe Biden is spending right now. That is a fact.”

“This actually is inflation. It is real inflation. It is not transitory inflation, and it’s going to be here for a long time. What he didn’t say was that this is not an act of God. This isn’t a hurricane, it’s not an earthquake, it’s not something we can’t control. This is the result of decades of policy that have enriched a few and impoverished the many.”

Tucker: Because of Joe Biden, it’s that simple

Joe Biden is actively and intentionally breaking federal law, even as he works to protect himself and his own family from the consequences of these lunatic policies.

Tucker compares the Democrats’ immigration policies from before 2019 to those now, particularly how Joe Biden is breaking federal law while protecting himself from the consequences of doing so.

Highlights (lowlights?) include:

“Once the illegal workers were gone, those chicken plants were forced to hire American citizens. In this case, many of them were African American.”

“So, you’d think maybe the Biden administration with its much repeated commitment to equity would think this is good, but of course they didn’t care. They’re not interested in helping working class people of any color. Diversity consultants, Princeton professors, MSNBC contributors, trans-humantist tech billionaires, of course those are their people.”

“But blue collar high school graduates who just want a decent hourly job? No, no chance. Not interested.”

“The White House hasn’t simply ended workplace raids. They’ve also stopped turning people away at the border, so people just come in and they know they’ll never be forced to leave. Already the administration has released more than 160,000 illegal migrants into the country with no supervision whatsoever, without telling the people into whose neighborhoods they’re moving, because they don’t care what American citizens think.”

“By the way, how many are vaccinated?”

“Biden has ordered the government to build a wall around his family’s vacation home in Delaware, and build it at public expense. Diversity may be our strength, he often says that, but Joe Biden doesn’t want it anywhere near him or his family.”

“Now, the irony of that is almost difficult to digest; it was just a year ago that Biden was telling us that walls are immoral and that’s why he would never build a wall.”

“It’s more than hypocritical. It’s criminal, and not in a rhetorical sense. Joe Biden is actively and intentionally breaking federal law, even as he works to protect himself and his own family from the consequences of these lunatic policies. Presidents have been impeached for less than that.”

“In fact, no American president who ever has been impeached … has ever even been accused of crimes this flagrant or this serious, not even close.”

“For the safety of American citizens, of course, and every country has laws like this, the US government is required to arrest and hold criminal aliens and deport them, but Joe Biden has refused to do that. He is breaking the law, right out in the open. So, why hasn’t he been impeached?”

“It’s too hard to convince the population that our policies help them, because in fact they don’t help them, at all. It’s much easier to guarantee that we’ll be elected into perpetuity by importing a whole new population of voters, and that’s exactly what they’re doing, and they bark like dogs when you say it because it’s true.”

Tucker: Leaders refuse to acknowledge this is killing people

This was a result of bad policy, but the Biden administration isn’t simply ignoring the problem. They’re doing something even more destructive. They’re making it worse.

Tucker examines the opioid crisis in America and what the Biden administration is doing about it.

Highlights include:

“There’s a major financial incentive for the drug cartels which run huge parts of Mexico to produce this drug [fentanyl] and ship it north, and they are.”

“The Biden administration tells you that their border policy is ‘humane,’ but it’s just the opposite.”

“That policy has resulted in this country becoming flooded with fentanyl and it has resulted in the deaths of many thousands of American. The latest data from the CDC shows that drug overdose deaths in the United States hit a new high, almost 100,000 deaths of American citizens during the 12 month period that ended in March of this year.”

“There are a lot of reasons this is happening, but one of the main reasons in government policy, which has made the population sedentary and depressed.”

“Our government spent the last year, in case you haven’t noticed, locking everyone inside their homes.”

“This was a result of bad policy, but the Biden administration isn’t simply ignoring the problem.”

“They’re not apologizing for it, of course. They’re doing something even more destructive. They’re making it worse. They’re making it less possible for the US government to control what comes across our border.”

“None of this should really surprise us. Our leaders have spent the last year dividing Americans from each other. The result is loneliness. They closed the churches, they closed the gyms, they forced people to stay apart from their family, friends and the people they’re closest to.”

“The role of the federal government is not to protect economic migrants from Haiti, it is not to improve the living standards in other countries, it is not to pack the electorate on behalf of a specific political party. It has only one role: It is to protect American citizens, it is to serve their interests, but they’re not doing that.”
