Follow the Fear

Today’s dominant societal trend appears to be “Be afraid, be very afraid, and restrict your life accordingly.”

If you want people to give you control over them then you need to assure that they are so afraid that they will suspend rational thought in order to be saved by you. Convince them that they don’t know enough to make their own decisions. Show them how vulnerable they are without your protection. Then put restrictions in place to give you ongoing control over them. That’s what’s going on in our country today.

In order to control people, you need them to agree to being controlled and it’s even better if you make them think that they are controlling themselves and that, regardless of criticism they may receive, they are justified in doing what you want. You must demonize any voices to the contrary. If a news source or trusted person disagrees, then you must destroy their credibility and make it cool to reject them, like Obama did with Fox News while he was president. That caused people to dismiss anything that was reported by Fox, without even considering it.

Control by Force
Control by force gains “agreement” by making the punishment more fearsome than compliance would be. As long as you hold the whip and they fear it, you get to stay in charge. But, if they decide that the whipping is worth the fight for freedom, then you have a major problem. Your threat no longer generates compliance. When oppressed people rise up despite their fears, a revolution is imminent.

Nature gets this
Weaker animals of all types, including humans, look for weaknesses that they can exploit when confronting a greater adversary. If you’re a wildebeest being dragged into the water by a crocodile, then you fight to stay on dry land where you have a small advantage. If you are a small child being bullied, then you attempt to stay in a public place where the abuse cannot be concealed and where others might step in to help.
The same is true for predators, you look for the weakest spot and attack that. If your first attack doesn’t prevail, then you seek to injure your prey repeatedly until you have dominance. Wolves isolate the weakest elk and then bite its legs so that it cannot flee. They don’t do a head-on confrontation with their prey.

Also true in politics
If your party isn’t in control, then you isolate and target weaknesses in order to regain power. Once you are in power, assuming you are power-hungry, then you change the rules so that you can stay in power. This is blatantly going on in the USA today.
Democrats have all the major seats of power, but rather than serving the people, they seem committed to changing the rules and fueling our fears most of all. That’s their strategy for staying in power indefinitely. And it is working.

One major reason that it is working is because they control the media. When the news sources become opinion-makers and propaganda tools, then the populace sees no reason to resist you. Just show them a series of images and interviews that have conclusions already drawn and soon everyone assumes it’s the truth and the only right way to see things. Example: George Floyd’s death and martyrdom.

George Floyd was wrongly killed by Derek Chauvin.

We saw it on camera and heard the verdicts of guilt. His death was not justified and should not have happened. There’s no disagreement with that.

Now let’s look at who George Floyd was. He was imprisoned 9 times for a variety of crimes. His criminal behavior was sustained for decades. He had not been a good guy at any measurable point. He broke into a woman’s home and held a gun to her pregnant stomach. He carjacked a woman’s vehicle and then told the judge, “I needed the car, and she was wrong to resist me.” His father sat in the courtroom shaking his head in shame upon hearing this. But you won’t hear this on the news. In fact, if you watched the CBS special report on the Chauvin trial verdict, you saw a very different message. They implied that Floyd was an oppressed soul who was trying to get his life together again. No evidence supports that.

Again, his death was tragic, and he should not have been abused as he was. But that doesn’t justify making him a martyr who has a plaza named after him, legislation dedicated in his name, and national leaders, including the president and vice president mourning his death publicly while ignoring the deaths of others including police.

Fuel the Fear during key moments
This slick CBS news feature had clearly been prepackaged awaiting the outcome. I’m sure much sensational footage was edited out because of the 3 guilty verdicts. But the program pre-empted regular prime time programs and featured dramatic replays of the knee-on-the-neck video and then doubled down on fearmongering by showing the Rodney King beating from decades ago. The message, repeated and reinforced by interviewing the families of King and Floyd, was: “Racism and dangerous cops are systemic in society and we need even more support of the angry mobs in order to change the system. We need more government regulations and agencies, more required diversity education programs and funding to assure that racism is rooted out at the thought level!” And now they are threatening to riot again if the sentencing doesn’t please them.

Granted, this was international news, because the media had made it so. Other murder trials go on day to day without so much as a public mention. But this one was special because it had gotten thousands of postings worldwide. Why? Because it served the leftist message that racism is systemic, and more controls are needed. If they can’t make you afraid then they can’t get you to agree to more rules, agencies, and controls.

OK, let’s switch bogeymen to another big one, Covid 19.

This shut down has been the most effective global fear inducement since the Black Plague! Masks are required worldwide, people are hiding in their homes, terrified of normal human contact. School kids are terrified, teachers are refusing to return to class, stores are shut down, 6 foot spacing is required everywhere and they tell us “follow the science.” But science doesn’t recommend these actions. In fact, the 6-foot spacing was a tactic used in the 1918 Flu epidemic that had no basis in research. Many doctors today are saying 3 feet is plenty or just don’t touch.

When you enter a retail store the staff looks at you as a threat, not as a friend. They yell out, “Wear a mask please!” People are taught to shame others who don’t wear masks and accuse them of assault. It really does cause us to stay afraid, but where is the science that says this is effective? It doesn’t exist.

Actually Follow The Science
Note the following science-based report published this past week on a variety of sites.

Stanford study quietly published at proves face masks are absolutely worthless against Covid
Did you hear about the peer-reviewed study done by Stanford University that demonstrates beyond a reasonable doubt that face masks have absolutely zero chance of preventing the spread of Covid-19? … It was posted on the National Center for Biotechnological Information government website. The NCBI is a branch of the National Institute for Health, … features a peer-reviewed study by Stanford University’s Baruch Vainshelboim. In it, he cited 67 scholars, doctors, scientists, and other studies to support his conclusions.

According to the current knowledge, the virus SARS-CoV-2 has a diameter of 60 nm to 140 nm [nanometers (billionth of a meter)] [16], [17], while medical and non-medical facemasks’ thread diameter ranges from 55 µm to 440 µm [micrometers (one millionth of a meter), which is more than 1000 times larger [25]. Due to the difference in sizes between SARS-CoV-2 diameter and facemasks thread diameter (the virus is 1000 times smaller), SARS-CoV-2 can easily pass through any facemask.
The existing scientific evidences challenge the safety and efficacy of wearing facemask as preventive intervention for COVID-19. The data suggest that both medical and non-medical facemasks are ineffective to block human-to-human transmission of viral and infectious disease such SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19, supporting against the usage of facemasks. Wearing facemasks has been demonstrated to have substantial adverse physiological and psychological effects. These include hypoxia, hypercapnia, shortness of breath, increased acidity and toxicity, activation of fear and stress response, rise in stress hormones, immunosuppression, fatigue, headaches, decline in cognitive performance, predisposition for viral and infectious illnesses, chronic stress, anxiety and depression. Long-term consequences of wearing facemask can cause health deterioration, developing and progression of chronic diseases and premature death. Governments, policy makers and health organizations should utilize prosper and scientific evidence-based approach with respect to wearing facemasks, when the latter is considered as preventive intervention for public health.

So, we are back to the main issue, Fear.
What are you afraid of? Covid19, BLM riots, being called a “racist”, or maybe disapproval by others who haven’t taken time to think things through? It doesn’t matter what you fear, what’s important to the leftists is the fact that you fear. Fear is the goal. As long as you believe they will save you if you just obey, then they are in control and your future no longer belongs to you.
Courage is being afraid and still taking bold action despite your fear. Take time to think and be courageous. Be courageous, be very courageous, and expand your life accordingly.

Lockdowns hurt more people than COVID

You now have the largest prison camp in human history.

Tucker looks at China’s second, even worse COVID lockdown. No COVID misinformation warning from Facebook on this one, but one in which he talked about censorship. What’s up with that?

“China seemed to have gone insane, moving from authoritarian to dystopian in a single day. So, this was the world’s introduction to COVID-19, a virus we later learned the Chinese government itself helped to create.”

“Looking back, it all seems like a bad dream. COVID panic has now ended, the virus no longer constitutes a public health crisis in this or any other country, and it’s clear in retrospect, the government lockdowns, whatever their motives, in the end hurt far more people than COVID itself did. The much touted vaccines, meanwhile, provided nowhere near the protection the drug companies had promised, and at the same time came with significant risks that even now have not been openly discussed.”

“In China, they are living through it again. The government of China has just completely shut down the city of Shanghai. Shanghai is the biggest city in the country, it’s one of the largest cities in the world. More than 25 million people live in Shanghai, and the lockdown there, is more brutal and more far reaching than anything we saw in Wuhan 2 years ago.”

“For once, CNN is not exaggerating. You have 25 million people locked inside their homes. You have the largest prison camp in human history. Anyone who tests positive for COVID is shoved into a van and then taken to a quarantine camp.”

“What happened to the lives they left behind? What happened to the dogs and cats they left at home? Well, chances are Chinese police beat those dogs and cats to death on the street. That’s happening tonight all over Shanghai, a mass slaughter of pets.”

China; Hidden Dragon, or Paper Tiger

With all the ongoing issues in America today it might seem superfluous to worry about China. Between crime in the streets, the latest Covid variant, lock downs, forced vaccinations and corrupt at every level of government it might seem we have enough to worry about. But, what if it’s all related and part of a plan? What if we have always been at war with Eurasia but were never informed?

First let’s take a look at militarily how the opponents stack up.  On paper and in total dollars the USA outspends China by more than double. ($738 Billion Vs $252 billion). China has more than five times the number of citizens available for military service. Surprisingly at this time China and the USA are about equal in terms of ground forces equipment. (IE: Tanks, armored fighting vehicles, rockets)  It would appear that our air forces are about equal in numbers but we have double the number of helicopters and China has twice as many fighter aircraft as we do.  In sheer numbers China has the USA out classed in the naval department. America has more aircraft carriers by a factor of 5, but China holds the lead in fast attack frigates, corvettes and a slight lead in submarines.

As for nuclear weapons the USA has a total of 6,500 warheads but only 1,600 are currently deployed. China is a little harder to asses since they are not part of the Nuclear Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and do not reveal the total numbers of weapons they have. (For reference Russia has 6,490 warheads down from 40,000 during the height of the cold war. Currently has 1,600 deployed)

On paper it would seem the two super powers are evenly matched. But let’s not make the mistake most military generals do by fighting the last war. So much of their energy is studying the last conflict, the latest’s one always surprises them. (see Blitzkrieg).  Some of the more forward thinking realize the next war will be economic. Possibly combined with a cyber-attack. Today we are already seeing the probes of our technology driven economy. Most of these come from China. For a listing of these one only needs to go to the Center for Strategic International Studies. (CSIS).

In planning for a global conflict to come it seems the CCP is relying upon the oriental virtues of planning and patience, while the western world is into instant gratification. While the USA exports the virtues of multiculturalism and LGBTQ rights around the world the CCP is investing in roads, bridges, dams, ports and  infrastructure. By loaning money to developing nations at exorbitant rates and requiring Chinese labor and materials they are copying the colonial model sans the hospitals and schools.

Since 2013 China has been following a five year plan (China loves those five year plans) called the Belt and Road initiative. Interestingly announced during a visit to Kazakhstan. The goal is to build a Chinese centered international order. It is also known as the Silk Road Economic Belt, or the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road. The names are a nod to the historic trade routes to and from the western world to China, popularized by the travels of Marc Polo.  In 2019 a second Belt to road five year plan was instituted to quell the negative press and concentrate on a more “green and sustainable” era. As of 2020 140 of 193 countries and 32 international agencies have signed up.

For some of these countries the BRI turns into a debt trap. When they can’t pay up they are forced to turn over the very projects the Chinese financed. Uganda has turned over its international airport. Sri Lanka has handed over a large port. Djibouti is about to hand over another, adjacent to our largest port in Africa. Zambia is negotiating the turnover of their largest coper mine to help restructure their debt. In spite of all this other countries in South America are signing on to the BRI. Cuba has found another sugar daddy in the CCP’s initiative. Something to keep in mind all these project must follow the China’s National Defense law that mandates civilian infrastructure projects closely related to national defense shall meet national defense requirements and functions and must be surrendered for military use when needed.

North America is not immune to the prospect of “easy” money granted by the CCP. Canada has not signed on to the BRI but has welcomed Chinese investment on several fronts. Mostly in British Columbia and Bunavat. In the United States the CCP hasn’t been lending money but investing. Investing in politicians, Hollywood, Newspapers, News organizations and Colleges. They own internet companies like Tic-Tok, Riot Games, and We Chat. Brick and mortar companies like Smithfield, the Waldorf Astoria and Continental Aerospace Technologies. So much money is invested in American companies that you rarely see any criticism of the Communist countries policies. Global warming, China gets a pass, child labor laws, China need not apologize, slave labor, well what slave labor, and human rights abuses don’t see any there.

So what does it all mean to America and its citizens? As we move closer to China’s social credit system who will stand up and denounce it? The same politicians that accepted enough money to keep them in office? The news organizations that rely on CCP money to keep them afloat? Just look at how many objected to Covid being referred to as the China flu. Speaking of the China flu, what if it was released by China in an effort to destroy the economies of most nations and allow them to take control of strategic ports and airports around the world. Who would stand up if China decides that Taiwan could no longer be tolerated and will be annexed?

It would seem China is a paper Tiger. A paper tiger made of Yen. They have bought and paid for large sections of the United State economy. You could say the same for Europe.  China has ensured that every third world country that is rich in the resources owes a substantial portion of their gross domestic production to the CCP. You don’t need to be a dragon when you own all the paper.
