Five Principles for Political Christians to Live By

The Bible is very clear in regard to the advice it gives Christians!

Published

There is a lot of debate about whether or not Christians should be involved in politics. I know there are some Christians who don’t think that they shouldn’t be involved at all, and then there are other Christians who are as involved as anybody else. The question, in my mind, is not whether or not we should be involved but how we should be involved and how we should live and act while we are involved. I believe that the Bible is very clear in regard to the advice it gives Christians in how they live their lives, and this includes includes how they engage with others politically. Check out the video below to see the five principles that every Christian should live by when they engage in politics. The points from the video are listed below the video.

1. We are Citizens and Stewards

2. We are called to love.

3. Our battle is not against flesh and blood but against Satanic forces.

4. We must speak the truth in love.

5. Trust God

Do This and Make Thanksgiving Amazing!

Remembering the past helps us today and tomorrow.

Published

As we prepare for Thanksgiving day, I am always retrospective. I believe that “remembering” is one of our greatest callings in life. The word “remember” is used hundreds of times in the bible, all designed to push us toward God and His faithfulness to us. Remembering the past helps us today and tomorrow. For today it reminds us that God is with us. For tomorrow it reminds us that God has a plan for us and is always with us and leading the way.

Take some time to remember God’s faithfulness to you this week. Rejoice in the fact that He walks with you at all times, even the dark and lonely times. Remember that all good gifts come from His hand. Take some time to either think through or write down all of God’s blessings in your life. Meditate on them!

If you are struggling this week – as many do – remember that He loves you with an everlasting love and that He takes joy in you. After all, He created you!

God is good. I am thankful for all of you, my friends for your support and encouragement throughout the years. May this week and the coming weeks into the holiday season be a blessing to you and your family!
