Democrat Immunity in an Immoral World

Published

on

On a TV show from a nation which seems far removed, the opening monologue ended with the words “Truth, Justice and the American way”. We celebrated and believed this to our very souls.

Today  criminals of every sort are not being held accountable for their actions but held in esteem as their transgressions are either glossed over or even rubbed in our faces. Sometimes these crimes almost seem to be resume enhancers for further positions of power and influence. One thing in common with a majority of these un-indicted criminals seems to be a party affiliation. If you are a democrat you almost need to get caught in bed with a dead girl or a live boy. Just like democrat Edwin Edwards proclaimed as the only way he could lose his reelection. (BTW he won) Today there are doubts this would exclude you from being a democrat or a media darling.

Democrat immunity may be compared to favorably or unfavorably to diplomatic immunity. Diplomatic immunity is the international law that ensures diplomats are exempt from lawsuits or prosecution under the host countries laws. Democrat immunity seems to ensure prosecution from any laws depending on your usefulness and relevance to the party.

Some of the more blatant examples and their usefulness to the party are listed below in no particular order.

Al Sharpton: Mr. Sharpton has had 4.5 million in tax liens in addition to not paying federal taxes for his employees of his action network. But Sharpton walks free and pontificates about others not paying their fair share of taxes on NBC. Sharpton is useful to the party to help stir up racial tensions as part of their latest but not original, divide and rule party platform.

Hillary Clinton: Hand over an envelope of cash to a Secretary of State and future presidential candidate you would be thrown in jail quicker than you can say “Whitewater”. But if you marked the envelope Clinton Foundation it would all be perfectly legal. Now in all fairness, none of the Clintons take a salary for all their hard work but did spend 50 million flying around the world on first class trips to visit the oppressed. Now Bill and Hillary are still power players in the democrat party and there still may be some embarrassing FBI files lying around in Chappaqua.

Bill Ayers: While the FBI warns the country about patriotic Americans being domestic terrorists the founder of The Weather Underground an admitted terrorist group that bombed the US capital, the Pentagon, and a police station is in his own words “Guilty as sin, free as a bird”. He is Obama’s mentor and possible autobiography writer.

Ed Buck: Ed is an anomaly since he is being prosecuted for his crimes. It was only after the second dead male prostitute was found in his home that his democrat immunity was revoked. Only then because dead men tell no tales but their families do, sometimes to the press. There are half a million reasons Buck had immunity, because that’s how much he donated to the party.

Andrew Cuomo: While being pummeled by some in the press for sending an untold number of older New York residents to their deaths and his “hands on” mentoring to all his female staff. But nary a word from his Democrat colleague’s. Can’t really be sure why he gets a pass from even other future presidential rivals unless in true mob style the 59 billion missing from his tenue at HUD had some strings attached.

Weinstein & Epstein: It seems with both these guys “everyone” knew but no one stopped them. It took years for their malfeasance to become public and finally catch up to them. Both were big donors and active in the party. One would guess both lost their influence and immunity in light of the bad press which couldn’t be swept under the rug any further.

Hunter Biden: So many crimes to pick from it’s hard to narrow down. One small one is acquiring a pistol license in the people’s republic of California. It’s not impossible to legally defend oneself there but it is tough. Must reside in the state, must be morally upright, undergo mandatory training, and must not be a drug addict. In spite of Hunter’s short comings he acquired a pistol permit in the state and passed a federal back ground check. Hunter’s girlfriend threw the licensed gun away in the trash since he didn’t pass her background check. The only consequence of the entire episode was the scramble to hide the story till after the election.

This is just a small sample of democrat immunity in action. If you pay any attention you will see examples of crimes most citizens would pay dearly for being excused in exchange for allegiance to the party. This does not include the perks and advantages that can be heaped on for just behaving badly in order to advance the party goals. Things like professorships, unrecoverable book advances, or self-serving awards for bravery or “forward” thinking. See how many Antifa or BLM members are held accountable for burning down our cities to advance the democrat presidential platform. How many network news readers have lost their jobs over hyperbole or outright lies about Trump.

Don’t be mistaken in thinking it only happens in the democrat party, it also seems to happen for both parties, just it seems the democrats have it down to a science and get away with the most egregious examples.  Possible we have been naive and there never was Truth Justice and the America way it’s just something we were sold like the latest version of soap powder. Could it be as Thrasymachus, a student of Socrates stated, “I proclaim that justice is nothing but the interest of the stronger”, or as Karl Marx put it “Might makes right”.

If this is so we have drifted even further from the teachings of Socrates, and the principals our founding fathers gifted to us when constructing this great nation, the “Natural law”. Natural law (Latin: ius naturale, lex naturalis) is a moral theory which asserts that rights exist apart from the state. They are “inherent by virtue,” bestowed by a transcendent power, and cannot be justifiably abrogated. Natural law rests on the idea that objective truth exists and humans can ascertain it.

My name is Steve and I’m a news junkie. I’ve always believed the fourth estate’s job was to keep our leaders honest. It seems that job is now left to citizen journalists. I have entered the fray after a rich and varied career, not much of which was writing. I have delivered papers, worked for government, managed million dollar projects, been recruited by both sides of the isle to shill at rallies, canvassed for the opposition, and done some writing in my time. My goal is to both inform and entertain thru questioning the status quo.

Eight Dysphemisms to Start Your Week

A dysphemism is a word or phrase that is more offensive than the words it is replacing

Published

on

A “euphemism” is the substitution of an agreeable or inoffensive expression for one that might suggest something more bluntly or offend others, according to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary. To say, for example, “He doesn’t have all his marbles,” is regarded as gentler than saying “He is stark raving insane.”

The Mighty Dysphemism

The opposite of a euphemism is a “dysphemism.” A dysphemism is a word or phrase that is more offensive, blunt, or harsh than the word or phrase which it is replacing. For example, instead of stating that the Manhattan District Attorney is “cognitively challenged,” you refer to him instead as a “total partisan whack job.”

For your amusement, at the least, here are eight dysphemism followed by the kinder, gentler, or at least more definitive terminology of what is being said:

“Biting off more than you can chew” – Orally extracting an amount of edible matter that exceeds what one is comfortably able to masticate.

“That’s a load of B.S.” – Your assertion reminds one of bovine excretion.

“Sh__faced” – Bearing an expression that one normally associates with the act of removing solid waste from the body.

“Can’t tell your ass from your elbow” – Unable to differentiate between your dorsal side orifice and the joint connecting your forearm and upper arm.

“Stepping in a pile of crap” – A pedestrian venture into an accumulation of animal or human waste.

“Go F-yourself” – Engage in the act of physical consummation with yourself.

“Up to your eyeballs in crap” – Finding yourself surrounded at the visual level by unpleasantly aromatic organic waste.

“Carnal knowledge” – Having a close encounter with another, free of garments and other impediments, leading to direct tactile stimulation.

A True Time Saver

Thank goodness for dysphemisms. In a most fundamental way, they are true time-savers. Without them, we’d be groping for tedious phrasing all day long. “Up your nose with a rubber hose,” if you don’t “catch my drift.”

Trusting God during uncertain times can be challenging, but it is essential for believers to lean on their faith and trust in God’s plan. As a Christian, I firmly believe that God is in control of all things and that we can find peace in His presence. In this article, we will explore ways to trust God during uncertain times and provide relevant scripture and quotes from famous pastors and Bible teachers.

Remember God’s Promises
God’s promises are true, and we can rely on them during times of uncertainty. The Bible is full of promises that God has made to His people. One such promise is found in Jeremiah 29:11, which says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” When we trust in God’s promises, we can have hope and confidence in His plan for our lives.

Another promise is found in Philippians 4:6-7, which says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” When we give our worries and fears to God, He can replace them with peace and comfort.

Focus on God’s Character
When we focus on God’s character, we can trust Him more fully. The Bible tells us that God is loving, faithful, and just. In Psalm 145:13, we read, “The Lord is faithful to all His promises and loving toward all He has made.” When we remember that God is loving and faithful, we can trust Him to keep His promises.

Another important aspect of God’s character is His justice. In Romans 8:28, we read, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” God can use even the difficult times in our lives for His glory and our ultimate good.

Seek God’s Will
During uncertain times, it is essential to seek God’s will for our lives. When we trust in His plan, we can find peace and comfort. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” By seeking God’s will, we can have confidence that He will guide us in the right direction.

Build Your Faith
One way to trust God during uncertain times is to build our faith. Romans 10:17 says, “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” By reading the Bible and spending time in prayer, we can strengthen our faith and trust in God’s plan.

Connect with Others
During times of uncertainty, it is important to connect with others who share our faith. Hebrews 10:24-25 says, “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” By connecting with other believers, we can find support and encouragement.

In closing, trusting God during uncertain times can be challenging, but it is possible. By remembering God’s promises, focusing on His character, seeking His will, building our faith, and connecting with others, we can trust in God’s plan for our lives. As the famous pastor Charles Stanley once said, “Trusting God means looking beyond what we can see to what God sees.” Let us trust in God every day during these uncertain times.
