AZ Secretary of State Katie Hobbs is Out of Control on Ballot Audit

Published

on

Some areas of the country haven’t given up on investigating voter fraud during the presidential election, including Arizona and Georgia. But it’s not easy, because the left is going all out to stop them. Here in Arizona, the main opposition is coming from the Arizona Secretary of State, far left Katie Hobbs. This woman is frightening. She once referred to Donald Trump supporters as neo-Nazis. She is trying to make a name for herself since she wants to run for governor in 2022.

The Arizona Senate ordered an audit of Maricopa County ballots earlier this year, taking possession of 2.1 million ballots and nearly 400 election machines and turning them over to be audited by cyber firms. It just doesn’t seem very plausible that Joe Biden won in Maricopa County, considering it’s a Republican stronghold (the words of CBS) with more registered Republicans than Democrats, and considering how well Republicans performed in other races here. As of February, there were just over 909,658 registered Republicans to 814,101 Democrats, a striking difference.

In the Maricopa County Treasurer’s race, which featured two non-incumbents, the Republican handily beat the Democrat 46.65% to 42.46%. The Maricopa County Recorder, an incumbent Democrat who oversees Maricopa County Elections, lost to a Republican. In contrast, Biden supposedly beat Trump in the county by about two points.

The Maricopa County Supervisors, who many people locally believe are extremely corrupt and composed of RINOs, have fought the audit tooth and nail. They refused to comply with legislative subpoenas, forcing the issue into court. Senate President Karen Fann told them there was a lack of chain of custody for ballots, cut security seals and more ballot anomalies. The number of ballots listed on pink sheets in the boxes didn’t always match the number of ballots, and it was mostly a higher number (one example provided was off by 35 ballots). Fann also said the county had deleted databases, which Donald Trump repeated. Fortunately, CyFIR, one of the teams handling the audit, was able to recover the deleted files.

Hobbs isn’t defending the law but is stonewalling just like the supervisors. She received $6 million in CARES money from Governor Doug Ducey to spend on election issues so has a lot of leeway to wreak havoc. She creates all kinds of issues, threatening lawsuits and constantly claiming there is something wrong with every bit of the audit process. She has attempted to get Biden’s DOJ involved. Ken Bennett, a former Republican secretary of state himself with excellent credibility in the state, is overseeing the process. He has dismissed her rants as baseless.

Hobbs apparently knows no bounds, she reportedly dishonestly tried to sneak in a paid elections expert to the audit by pretending to be a reporter.

Hobbs is going all out to destroy Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich because of his proactive efforts stopping election fraud, such as his lawsuit suing the Democratic National Committee over ballot harvesting, currently at the U.S. Supreme Court. Her vengeance against him started before the election, when she became furious that Brnovich wouldn’t prosecute Trump. Earlier this year, Brnovich told the Maricopa County Supervisors to increase the number of ballots counted by hand from 2% to 5%, but they refused. Then Brnovich declared that the legislative branch has the authority to conduct the audit. Hobbs demanded that Brnovich shut down the audit due to her rants, but he didn’t. He said to her in a letter, “Any such complaints … must be based on credible facts and not conjecture of politics” and pointed to the separation of powers granting the legislature this authority.

As a result, Hobbs has now filed over 12 bar complaints against Brnovich and his staff attorneys. Since there are rumors that Brnovich is running for governor too, she wants the conservative champion out of the way. But what about the attorneys helping Hobbs out drafting the groundless bar complaints, why isn’t anyone filing bar complaints against them? They are some of the most notorious left-wing activists in the state.

It’s gotten so bad the legislature is now stripping Hobbs of her ability to defend election lawsuits and transferring those powers to the Arizona Attorney General. Another provision will remove her authority over the museum at the state capitol and turn it over to the legislature. The House and Senate Appropriations Committees passed bills doing this that will be part of a full budget proposal expected to be signed into law.

A lot of Arizonans believe there was voter fraud. High Ground, a public affairs firm in the state that is not conservative, found that 42% of Arizonans in March thought there was “significant fraud” in the election, as did 78% of Republicans.

The audit is being funded here and there are nine live cameras here. It is expected to finish by the end of June. While it’s too late to change the election results, it’s important to ensure that this never happens again, or there will never be a Republican president again. The investigation must continue. The fact the MSM is not reporting that boxes of ballots have pink slips listing counts of ballots in boxes that are off by 35 and other amounts is an incredible whitewash that can’t be dismissed as a “conspiracy theory” as Hobbs likes to say.

Hobbs is using classic tactics that far left Saul Alinsky laid out in his Rules for Radicals. She’s furious the left-leaning judiciary is not bending to her demands as she expected, so now she’s turning to the left-wing Arizona State Bar. Arizona as well as the ballot audit going on in Georgia are currently ground zero for stopping election fraud. Keep the focus on this fraud until she is stopped.

Why are Red State Governors Using Democrat Public Relations Agencies?

Published

on

Conservatives are always railing against using products and services from left-wing activists, so why are some who clearly have the option of choosing otherwise not doing so? One of the most glaring areas where this is taking place is in red state governments. They hire left-wing PR and advertising agencies, giving them millions of taxpayer dollars which enables the agencies to continue attacking conservatives, helping leftist causes and possibly even sabotaging the conservative governors they are supposed to represent.

A classic example of one of these agencies is New York-based MMGY NJF, one of the largest PR companies for tourism offices in the country. It was founded by Democrat Nancy Friedman. Her Twitter feed is full of progressive posts, including retweeting Rachel Maddow and David Hogg. She gave money to Kamala Harris and the DNC in 2020.

MMGY NJF Vice President Danny Guerrero’s Twitter account is also full of hate. He retweeted Joy Behar urging Beto O’Rourke to run against Ted Cruz, and another person gloating that the Military Band played “Hit the Road Jack” outside the White House on President Trump’s last day. He also retweeted Robert Reich wanting to impeach Trump 10 days before the inauguration. MMGY gave Guerrero a big award this month.

So who uses MMGY besides typical woke areas of the country like West Hollywood? Texas and South Dakota, both states with conservative Republican governors. South Dakota and Travel Texas are proudly listed as two of their clients. Their contract with South Dakota is valued at over $20.7 million. Visit Rapid City also uses the agency.

MMGY recently bragged that Travel Texas and Visit Florida, Florida’s tourism office, are funding their woke study examining the “intersectionality” of “LatinX” tourism. It’s entitled “Latinx U.S. Travelers: Observations and Insights on Themes of Diaspora and Intersectionality.” Intersectionality is a Marxist term that means looking at political issues in terms of identity, viewing everyone as a white male, a queer transgender, etc., and how privilege and discrimination apply. LatinX is a term made up by woke white leftists to refer to Hispanics, which MMGY defines as a “gender-neutral” term. One Hispanic was so offended he wrote an article for USA Today denouncing the made-up word.

Profits from the study’s sale will be donated to Travel Unity. Travel Unity puts on events featuring woke speakers such as Brandan Robertson, a “trusted voice on progressive faith and politics.” Speaker Adrienne Lee worked for a global social justice organization and has a love for “intersectional environmentalism.” Sara Emmert managed communications and public relations for the New York State Legislature Democratic caucus members and for Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo. And speaker Alanah Keddell-Tuckey is a public outreach specialist for New York’s DEC’s Office of Environmental Justice. The list is devoid of conservative speakers but full of SJWs.

After the announcement, Visit Florida was scrubbed off of MMGY’s website as a sponsor. Maybe they wised up? Before MMGY, Texas used Edelman, the firm of Steve Schmidt of Lincoln Project infamy.

Democrats are great about hiring each other and canceling Republicans out of jobs. So why are these conservative governors allowing MMGY to stay on as a client? There are plenty of conservative PR agencies who would love the work, and may desperately need it due to the cancel culture.

MMGY is all about dividing people by race and other categories. It is not inclusive, it is perpetuating divisive stereotypes. Why are tax dollars in red states going to such an openly progressive agency?

Some levels of government are doing the right thing and pushing back. North Carolina’s Surry County Commissioners recently announced that the county is banning Coke machines after Coke issued a statement denouncing Georgia’s new voting integrity laws.

There is probably something going on behind closed doors that the American public doesn’t know about. There are a few people in those three states with power who stand to gain from contracts with MMGY. They’ve become buddies with the top brass at MMGY, and likely reap benefits, tangible or intangible, from the partnership. These types of sleazy people frequently use blackmail to force politicians to do what they want.

When conservatives rail against RINOs, this is the epitome of the type of behavior they are ranting about. Many RINOs at the top echelons in government care more about their personal pockets than principles. Sadly, the American public rarely discovers these backdoor secrets, because those kinds of people are masters at covering their tracks. It’s allowed to remain a frustrating mystery.

It sounds like Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis may have finally put the lid on MMGY. Now it’s time for Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem to do the same. If they don’t, MMGY will be like a ball and chain following them around if they run for higher office. It may seem like a very small move to dump the agency. But every little bit counts pushing back against the woke progressives’ indoctrination, and since they control so many areas of society, fighting piecemeal may be our only option.

Why are Schools Failing Our Children?

Published

on

There is a feeling in this country that we are more divided, more violent, less informed and willing to just go along to get along. Why is that? Why are people willing to take to the streets and burn and loot? How can even a small vocal minority support communist regimes that have murdered hundreds of thousands thru out history? Why do those popular “man on the street” interviews show so many citizen’s ignorant of even basic civic knowledge? Possibly a closer look needs to be taken at how the youngest of Americans are taught and where their views are shaped.

In America we have compulsory but not mandatory Kindergarten thru 12th grade. Like almost all government type programs the users pay nothing but the taxpayers pay dearly. The costs for education has outpaced inflation for quite a few years.  Despite what some say more money does not equal better students. Using almost any matrix American students are falling behind their counterparts in the rest of the western world. In some blue state’s average property taxes can equal almost half of the federal income tax paid.

There was a time when schools concentrated upon the three “R’s”, Reading, writing and arithmetic. The goal of school was to prepare students for the real world. Today we have books banned in school so it doesn’t offend or inform students about the real world. In quite a few school cursive writing is no longer taught since it is difficult and beside we have Bill Gates and Microsoft helping us to write and spell. Math or arithmetic has been branded “racist” because laws of math are absolute and to teach students that they might be wrong just might damage their self-esteem. Advanced placement classes are being defunded across the nation to make room for more special education placements. Because some doing better than others could hurt some students and parents feelings.

Trending on PolitiCrossing.com: WOW. Grab the Kleenex and Watch this Girl Sing!

If the basic three “R’s” are no longer being taught what is happening in our schools? Reading classics like “Huckleberry Finn” has now been replaced by “Heather has two mommies”. Writing assignments might consist of a short essay on your heroes. But make sure it’s a woke hero and not anyone like Jesus or Trump. Arithmetic in use for at least since the pyramids were built is now being performed by the “Common Core” method instead of the traditional time honored way.  Which is probably why cashiers these day can’t figure out change without the machine. Don’t forget the latest fad “Critical Race Theory”, where if you are not the correct shade of brown you don’t even deserve your change back.

Education and schooling has always been about building a base for a better future and short on actual practical knowledge. There is some truth to the saying those that can do and those that can’t teach. So what are our most vulnerable being taught in public schools these days? To be an activist, a social justice warrior, to despise the very foundations that allow them the freedom they enjoy today? It has either accelerated lately or maybe just become more open as a result of remote learning. Many parents forced to stay home during the Conovirus scare were able to witness what is usually hidden behind school walls.

So this is the education children are getting for all of those tax dollars. Learning to hate the very people footing the bill for this “education”. Not only thru property taxes but that same money pays teachers salaries. In spite of many districts being Union Free it doesn’t mean what you think. A percent of every teachers pay is sent off to the teachers union who then uses their power to make sure their voice is heard loud and clear by the politicians that make up the rules. Don’t think the unions don’t care at all about students, why just this year the head of the American Federation of Teachers warned teachers not to post photos of their exotic vacations while insisting neighborhood schools remained closed.

What can be done to alter the course of our failing schools? Budgets can be voted down but those are just increases and most time re-votes are scheduled until they get what they want.  School boards whose job it is to speak for the citizen’s mostly don’t know what is going on in the very schools they represent. They spend their time defending the status quo. Just like our local and national politics we must be informed and active. Ignoring the problems won’t make it go away.

The only hope for future citizens is that there are good teachers out there, their voices are suppressed like in most industries. The students themselves might rebel against authority realize they have be lied to and manipulated thru out their school days and reject the indoctrination they received during their primary education.

The only hope for parents present and future is one of three: 1) Private school if it is economically feasible, after first a thorough due diligence, 2) Home school if someone at home can afford the time, 3) If public school is the only option the time must be found to stay involved and informed to counter act any socialist training.
