Justin Trudeau Revokes The Emergencies Act

Just moments before the Canadian Senate was set to vote on whether to allow the Trudeau government to continue to use the dictatorial powers that it had granted itself under the Emergencies Act, Trudeau announced that the situation on the ground meant that it was no longer necessary, and that he was revoking the act.

Sources say that in fact, Trudeau knew that the Senate was about to vote the act down, and rather than face the humiliation of being rebuked by the Canadian Senate, he choose to withdraw the act from further consideration.

Canadian banks began unfreezing the accounts of those who had had their accounts frozen due to their support of the Freedom Convoy.

Trudeau has faced a tidal wave of international criticism, being called a tyrant and a fascist by the President of El Salvador, lawmakers in the European Parliament, and man members of the US House and Senate.

Liberal Party support plummeted by 10 points during his invocation of the Emergencies Act, while Conservative Party support rose by 10 points.  As of today, the Liberal Party (which is a misnomer as there is nothing liberal about this party) has just 28% support, while the far Left NDP has just 12% support. The Conservative Party has 39% support, the People’s Party Of Canada, a conservative party, has 10% support, and the Bloc Quebecois has 7%.  Should an election be held in Canada today, the Liberals would be annihilated, the Conservatives would win a majority government, and the PPC would win its first seats in Parliament.

A shameful chapter in Canadian history is thankfully coming to a close, and a tyrant has been chastened by freedom loving men and women in Canada and around the world.
